Center for Spirituality & Healing faculty member and researcher Dr. Carolyn Torkelson also sees patients at the University of Minnesota's Women's Health Center - a multi-specialty comprehensive care center that has been designated as a National Center for Excellence in Women's Health . The Center serves as a national model for providing innovative, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary healthcare for women.

At the Women's Health Center, patients and referring physicians have access to the best research and clinical trial opportunities. Specialties at the Women's Health Center include internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, urologic gynecology, endocrinology, psychology, gynecologic oncology, internal medicine, medicine consults, and family practice.

In addition, Dr. Torkelson also sees patients at the Breast Center at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview. The Breast Center brings leading-edge research and technology together with personalized, compassionate care for women.
