Mindfulness vs Pharmacotherapy for Chronic Insomnia Research Study

MVP Loco

Chronic insomnia is a major public health problem, affecting millions of Americans daily. It may increase risks for depression and anxiety, as well as reduce quality of life and work productivity. This study will compare a mind-body approach, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), with an approved prescription sleep medication for insomnia. Participants will be randomly assigned to either MBSR or medication.

Study enrollment is now closed. For more information, contact Maryanne Reilly-Spong, PhD, at 612-624-6115.
