The University of Minnesota Center for Spirituality & Healing and School of Nursing are offering a one-of-a-kind, professional development program designed to prepare nurses, nursing faculty and other healthcare providers to teach and provide integrative/holistic health and healing to patients and families in a variety of clinical and community settings. Through didactic, online, and experiential learning, participants will acquire the knowledge and skills to care for patients and provide leadership in environments that promote optimal healing.
This five-day program will be based at Woodwinds Health Campus (www.woodwinds.org), an extraordinary healthcare facility in Minnesota that is a model optimal healing environment. Faculty will include experts from the University of Minnesota’s Center for Spirituality & Healing and School of Nursing as well as Woodwinds Health Campus and other local and national leaders in integrative health and healing.
Academic Credit & Cost
Cost for the program is $1,075 and includes course materials, text book, breakfast and lunch. Participants may register for continuing education credit, a two-semester graduate credit (CSpH 8191), or a three-semester graduate credit course (CSpH 5101). When registering for graduate credit, University of Minnesota tuition and fees are applicable.
