Educational Background
Maureen earned her masters and bachelor’s degrees in clinical social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Academy of Certified Social Workers. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.

Brief Biography
Maureen Pelton, MSSW, LICSW, is currently in private practice as an integrative psychotherapist, health coach, intuitive consultant and workshop facilitator. As a member of the Center for Spirituality and Healing, she has actively collaborated in the development of the Health Coaching Program in the Complementary Therapies and Healing Practices graduate certificate program. Maureen co-teaches "Fundamentals of Health Coaching I and II" and is co-course director of "Advance Health Coaching Seminar."
Maureen’s extensive professional experience includes clinical practice, organizational consulting, program development and management and creating cutting-edge training programs. Her practice and teaching integrates mind-body healing therapies, energy medicine, intuition and emotional intelligence. She has developed a course, HeartSightŪ, for reclaiming intuition for personal and professional application. She teaches HeartSightŪ to healthcare professionals including the Integrative Medicine staff at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Maureen leads international travel experiences initiating participants into transformation, the heart’s way of knowing and ancient healing modalities.
Maureen earned her masters and bachelor’s degrees in clinical social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Academy of Certified Social Workers. She is a certified Family Coach and a Specialist in Multidimensional Human Design Analysis.
