Educational Background
At the University of Minnesota, Dr. Cameron earned her PhD in nursing, with a minor in philosophy/bioethics; master of science in nursing; master of arts in philosophy/bioethics; and bachelor of science in nursing. She did postdoctoral work in nursing and cross cultural ethics at the University of Minnesota, Georgetown University, University of Illinois - Chicago, University of Wisconsin - Madison, and the Midwest Bioethics Center. Before graduate school, she worked as a staff nurse, head nurse, nursing instructor, and nursing supervisor.

Teaching Areas
Dr. Cameron developed and teaches three graduate courses: (a) Traditional Tibetan Medicine: Ethics, Spirituality & Healing; (b) Yoga: Ethics, Spirituality, and Healing; and (c) Tibetan Medicine, Ayurveda, and Yoga in India.

Research Interests
Relationship between cross cultural ethics, spirituality, and healing; traditional Tibetan medicine; deeper dimension of yoga; meditation; bioethics; experience of ethical problems.
