Programs for MBSR Graduates
NEW! MBSR II 8-Week Program: "Watering the Seeds of Mindfulness" for those who have taken MBSR, with Jean Haley, MLS, MS, MSW, LICSW Wednesdays, June 20 to August 15, 2012 Includes a day-long retreat on Saturday, August 4 7:00 to 9:00pm Mindfulness is available to us all if we make the intention and practice what we learned in MBSR. It is a seed for growing an awareness of what happiness is in our lives. Sometimes, however, we need a little boost to remember and reinforce what we already know. This new course for those who have taken MBSR will provide the support and tools necessary to continue a path towards the life we desire. Students will continue to strengthen their mindfulness through guided meditations, mindful movement, loving-kindness, compassion, and interaction with others. Classes will focus on opening to the body, cultivating wholesome mind states, developing compassion, and getting unstuck from difficult thoughts. Each class will include new materials and additional practices that build upon the MBSR program. Held in the Mayo Meditation Space, the first class (June 20) and last class (August 15) may go until 9:30. Cost is $300.
