Bio

Teri Verner, DNP, RN, AHN-BC completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree in Integrative Health and Healing through the University of Minnesota with a focus in Integrative Health and Healing in 2012. She is also graduate faculty for the Earl E Bakken Center of Spirituality, and Healing at the University of Minnesota

Verner has nursing leadership experience in a variety of settings, including leading integrative health programs in 2 large hospital systems in the Twin Cities, community based settings, and long term care.  In addition to teaching the Center's graduate-level academic Introduction to Integrative Healing Practice course, she also helped to develop and continues to serve as faculty for Vetrans Health Administration Whole health classes for inpatient nurses and nurse leaders. Dr. Verner has additional training and interest in the areas of wellness, mindfulness, meditation, Healing Touch, Reiki, and Ayurveda.
