Explore Integrative Health and Healing Through Podcast Episodes Featuring Center Wellbeing Experts

The third International Integrative Nursing Symposium is only two months away! If you're planning on attending, the podcast episodes below feature University of Minnesota wellbeing experts who will be presenting at the Symposium. Or if you're simply interested in learning more about integrative health and healing, these episodes of the Center's Take 5 for Your Health and Wellbeing podcast will help you learn more. 

Center Director and Symposium Co-Chair Mary Jo Kreitzer, PhD, RN, FAAN, is the expert on the episode Healthy Eating and makes a guest appearance on the holiday special episode when she discusses holiday stress.

Theresa Nutt, MA, RN, and Karen Lawson, MD, are both experts in health coaching – listen to Lawson’s explanation of the field in the episode What is Health Coaching? Then listen to Nutt in the later episode, Making Life Changes, to understand how coaching makes an impact in people’s day-to-day lives.

Teri Verner, DNP, RN, AHN-BC, started off the podcast’s exploration into integrative therapies with the episode Integrative Therapies and Practices Overview. From there, Deborah Ringdahl, DNP, RN, CNM, explored the practice of Reiki and Jan Tomaino, DNP, joined us for an episode on Aromatherapy.

Megan Voss , DNP, RN, gives a clear, concise explanation of this emerging field in What is Integrative Nursing? Voss discusses how integrative therapies and nursing are coming together in exciting ways.
