New Episode of Take 5: Exploring Yoga

May 17, 2019

A new episode of the Center's "Take 5 for Your Health and Wellbeing" podcast is out! In this episode, we sit down with Katie Schuver to discuss the topic of yoga as an integrative healing mechanism, as well as the different yoga course offerings here at the Center.

"What the research or the literature suggests is that physical activity in general--so moving your body whether it's yoga or otherwise--is both supported in terms of efficacy trials and effectiveness trials at moderating depressive or anxiety symptoms," says Schuver. Schuver teaches both the undergraduate and graduate yoga courses at the Center.

The twice monthly Take Five for Your Health and Wellbeing podcast provides science-based health and wellbeing tips and interviews with experts. Take 5 is now available on iTunesStitcherGoogle play, and TuneIn where you can listen, rate, and subscribe. After you've listened, be sure to give us feedback.
